As the name of this place suggests, they serve decent, greasy nems.
Located in a high traffic strip of restaurants on the Boulevard de 13 Janvier, Nem 24 (or Restaurant Vietnamien) offers reasonably priced large helpings of chicken, fish, calamari, duck, and pork; vermicelli dishes; riz cantonnais with small shrimps, chicken or beef; and deep bowls of chicken and beef pho. Most dishes run around 3.000fcfa and you’ll have enough to bring leftovers home. A limited drinks menu includes sodas and beers.
A back room has air conditioning and, last we visited, was hosting a large group of men boisterously gambling on cards. The front room can be and mostly open to the street. Nothing fancy, but a good spot to stop when you are short on time but big on appetite.
The bathroom is a bit scary – doesn’t lock and running water was not apparent.
